Dalbello MX Super Gray Used Rec Ski Boots Men's

No More Store to Compare.

Finally, my feet stay warm! I've gone through four pairs of ski boots in three years, not because they wore out but because they couldn't keep my feet warm. It seemed like all my old boots slipped at my ankles but were always too tight in the toe area, so no matter how dry my feet were my toes were always cold because they cut off circulation. This year I got a pair of the Dalbello Sports Krypton Pro boots, and I am duly impressed.

My toes stay warm and dry in these boots because there's plenty of toe room - actually, the boot is consistent all the way around because I get a lot less slippage than normal. This aspect really seems to have improved my skiing because I get a better responsiveness (this is my sixth year skiing, and really I've only been into it heavy for the last four years). I'm not an expert but I do know what's comfortable for me.

At first, I wasn't used to how stiff the boots are but I got used to that and now I don't mind at all. I'm not a big jumper or mogul guy or anything; basically I'm the type of skier who rides the lift and skis down all day long. Still, I'm out for many hours at a time and I can say I'm very happy with these boots. My ankles were a little sore after my first day in the Krypton boots, probably because I wasn't used to a boot that didn't slip. After a few days, I got used to it and now realize they actually absorb shock very well. They say these boots are for professional skiers, but I think they're equally good for beginning-to-intermediate skiers, and perfect for a big guy like me who has trouble fitting right in other boots. I highly recommend the Dalbello Krypton Pro to any skier no matter what your skill level is.

Condition

These boots were used in a mountain slope rental program for a few seasons. They have scratches, scuff marks and scrapes as you would expect in any used boot. There is an engraved name on the inside of the plastic shell. Some of the logo may be worn off in places.

Manufacturers boots fit a little differently. I tried a pair of these boots on in my size and they run 1/2 size small, depending on your desired fit. I suggest trying on a similar brand or model at a local shop to get the best idea of fit and size. The mondo point comparison to street shoe size is close but not exact. Remember to use a ski sock made of wool or a wicking fabric. Do not use cotton socks.
